Art Deco Aquamarine and Zircon Statement Earrings

Art Deco Aquamarine and Zircon Statement Earrings
These one-of-a-kind Art Deco Aquamarine and Zircon Statement Earrings are handmade by Andrea Li in her Denver studio. Sterling silver geometric details are softened by shimmering gemstones of zircon, aquamarine rondelles, and tiny Keshi pearls that finely edge the teardrop that encases a large moss aquamarine briolette. Topped by a striking blue faceted oval aquamarine and a high luster pearl to give extra drama. Sterling silver throughout and ear wires. Total earring length 3½″.
The art deco frame is the architecture and the stones are the argument. The geometric sterling silver shapes hold the teardrop form, but it is the layering inside it that makes this piece: a moss aquamarine briolette at the center, ringed by aquamarine rondelles, edged in tiny Keshi pearls, and capped above by a faceted oval aquamarine and one more pearl for drama. The whole earring reads cold and watery and precise all at once. From the Glacier Collection: built once, never replicated, never manufactured.
The moss aquamarine briolette at the heart of each earring is cold-connected, assembled with wire and never with heat. Briolettes are drilled through their narrowest point, which is exactly where the stone is most brittle, so that is the point heat can never reach. Every stone in this piece, including the Keshi pearls, is set by hand. Keshi pearls have no nucleus, which gives them an irregular shape and a deeper, more intense luster than a standard cultured pearl, and they do best kept away from water and perfume.
One of a kind. When they sell, they’re gone. Explore more in the Glacier Collection.

This aquamarine and sterling silver statement cuff is hand-built by Andrea Li in her Denver studio using lost wax casting — a process where each talon shape was first carved in wax, then cast in solid sterling silver to produce forms that can't be replicated. A square-cut natural, untreated blue aquamarine anchors the center, flanked by gemstone clusters of aquamarine briolettes, moss aquamarine, high-luster pearls, and silver bead accents. Blue zircon rondelles edge the sterling wire frame, adding depth without weight.
The Glacier collection explores the tension between strength and elegance — silver cast into shapes that feel almost organic, paired with stones that shift from ice blue to sea green depending on how the light catches them. This cuff leans into that contrast. The talons read fierce from across the room but the gemstone cluster softens everything when you look closer. It sits flush against the wrist at 7 inches and wears more comfortably than its presence suggests.
Andrea drew on every technique available — fabrication, wire work, casting, and assembly — to build a piece where no single element is recognizable in the final design. Built once and never repeated.
