This pearl ring is hand-fabricated by Andrea Li in her Denver studio — an open design that spans across two fingers with pearls that appear to float within the gold structure. A handcrafted 14k gold-filled open circle holds an 8.4mm freshwater pearl on one side, transitioning through a gilded arch to a 10mm freshwater pearl on the other. The illusion is that both pearls are suspended in midair between your fingers.

Andrea wanted to apply the same level of design ambition she brings to statement necklaces and cuffs to something as simple as a ring. The pearl pegs are precision-soldered into the open frame so the pearls sit exactly where the eye expects them not to be. It's a conversation piece that reads as sculptural jewelry rather than a traditional pearl ring.

How do you wear this ring?

Slide it onto two adjacent fingers — the open circle with the smaller pearl sits on one finger while the arch and larger pearl rest on the next. It spans the space between your fingers, creating a floating illusion. Most people wear it on the ring and middle finger, but it works on any two adjacent fingers.

How does sizing work?

Available in sizes 6, 7, and 8. Because this is a two-finger open design rather than a traditional band, sizing is approximate — the ring sits across two fingers rather than wrapping one. Are the pearls secure?

Yes. Both freshwater pearls are mounted on precision-soldered pegs — the same technique Andrea uses across her Aglow collection. The pearls are permanently set into the gold-filled frame, not glued. They won't loosen with normal wear.

How do I care for this piece?

Remove before washing hands or applying lotion — pearls are softer than most gemstones. Clean gently with a damp cloth. Store in an airtight bag with anti-tarnish strips to protect the gold-filled frame. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. This ring arrives in a branded gift box.
