GREEN AMETHYST LINK BRACELET

$425.00

GREEN AMETHYST LINK BRACELET, handmade by Andrea Li in her Denver studio, built from 14K gold-filled wire and 22K gold vermeil with green amethyst accents. The bracelet moves from section to section the way a linked chain should: each segment has its own weight and swing, held together with hand-formed connections rather than a manufactured clasp assembly.

The green amethyst here reads closer to pale sage than to the deep purple most people expect from amethyst. That cooler green sits unusually well against both yellow gold and warm skin, which is why I paired it with two metals: 14K gold-filled structure and 22K gold vermeil detail. The difference in tone between them is subtle, the kind of thing you notice in certain light.

Every connection in this bracelet is cold-formed, which means no heat anywhere near the amethyst. Green amethyst, a heat-treated variety of quartz, is stable once formed, but I work cold on gemstone clusters and linked designs because precision matters more than speed: each wire bail is sized and set individually by hand, and that approach gives the finished piece a consistency that batch soldering cannot.

One of a kind. Built once in the studio, never repeated. Explore more one-of-a-kind pieces in the Palm Jewelry collection.

What is this bracelet made of?
The bracelet is built on 14K gold-filled wire with 22K gold vermeil accents and green amethyst stones placed by hand. Every connection is cold-formed in Andrea Li's Denver studio with no heat near the stone.
What stone is green amethyst?
Green amethyst, also called prasiolite, is a heat-treated variety of quartz. Its pale sage-to-mint color reads differently from purple amethyst and sits well against yellow gold. It is a durable stone with a Mohs hardness of 7, comfortable for daily bracelet wear.
How is the bracelet constructed?
Every connection is cold-formed: wire bails are sized and set individually by hand, with no soldering or heat at any stage. Andrea uses this method on all linked gemstone work because it lets each segment be precisely fitted, and because heat near stone introduces risk that cold connection eliminates. The result is a bracelet that moves and wears as a linked piece should.
Is this one of a kind?
Yes. This bracelet was built once in Andrea Li's Denver studio and will not be replicated. When it sells, it is gone. Explore the Palm Jewelry collection for other one-of-a-kind pieces by Andrea Li.
