Labradorite and Gemstone Statement Necklace
This one-of-a-kind labradorite and gemstone statement necklace is handmade by Andrea Li: a large labradorite briolette anchors a hand-placed cluster of center-drilled faceted beads on 14k gold-filled wire, with 24k gold vermeil over sterling silver ovals and a clasp.
Around the labradorite sit pyrite, hydro quartz, green amethyst, mystic topaz, whiskey topaz, moss aquamarine, crystal points, amethyst, and Keshi pearl. The composition runs warm metallics against cool flash, built once and never repeated, made for a collector who wants something genuinely unrepeatable.
Every stone is cold-connected, assembled with wire and never with heat. There is a real reason for that: a briolette and the faceted beads are drilled through their narrowest point, which is exactly where a stone is most brittle, so heat or pressure there would fracture them. I build each link by hand, working the drilled hole to fit my wire so the connection is secure and the stone is never stressed. That is what lets a labradorite briolette anchor a piece this layered without putting the stone at risk.
