Tamar · Chapter Two
Second Light
The second chapter of Tamar, my pastel gemstone collection. One-of-a-kind pieces in soft color, handmade in my Denver studio. Opening November 4.
The Next Round of Tamar
I work what I call whole buffalo. A collection is not finished until I have used up most of the stones I bought for it. Tamar began as the pieces I had made when there was time to release them. Second Light is the round I always meant to make next, built from the same pastel palette and the same drawer of stones I could not stop thinking about.
Two stones lead this chapter. Amethyst stalactite slices, those cross-sections of a geode with their lace of crystal and soft lilac edges, are the showstoppers. And moonstone, for the blue flash that moves when you do. Around them sit aquamarine, morganite, green amethyst, kunzite, and pearl. Every piece is built once. When it sells, it is gone.
