Fire Agate & Citrine Statement Necklace

Fire Agate & Citrine Statement Necklace
The Fire Agate & Citrine Statement Necklace is handmade by Andrea Li in her Denver studio: elongated exotic teak wood pieces protrude and cascade from a hand-sculpted gemstone cluster of pink tourmaline, citrine, whiskey topaz, spessartite garnet, cat's eye, and pearl.
From the Signature Collection -- built once, never replicated, never manufactured. The teak wood is what you notice first. Long, architectural fins that push out from the center cluster, giving the necklace an almost organic, structural quality you do not see in metal-only statement pieces. The wood and the gemstones are cold-connected, assembled entirely with wire and never with heat, which is how I can bring these two very different materials together without damaging either. Each gem in the cluster is wire-set by hand, worked into position individually so the final composition has the kind of irregular, built-up quality that only comes from doing it one stone at a time.
This is the piece for the collector who wants a necklace that reads as sculpture first. The teak adds warmth and weight; the tourmaline and citrine bring color; the spessartite garnet and whiskey topaz hold the depth. One of a kind. When it sells, it is gone. Explore more in the Signature Collection.
